Peter is an educator and the author of fifteen books on education reform and policy. His knowledge of schools and education comes from a lifetime of teaching, researching, and working to improve the quality of education for all children. 

Currently, Peter is a principal researcher at AIR and President of Ideas without Borders, a Washington, DC, consulting firm specializing in 21st education innovation and human rights.  

Peter is a featured speaker at numerous international and national meetings. He blogs for the Huffington Post and Whiteboard Advisors in Washington, DC, where he serves as a senior advisor. A passionate commitment to equality of opportunity for all children is the hallmark of his work.
